On May 2nd 2017, Saxon team members helped pack about 90 backpacks full of donations.

The backpacks contents were based on the ages of the Foster child. For example ages 0-2 would get: wipes, a baby toy, a storybook, a toothbrush and toothpaste, as well as shampoo, lotion, body wash, blanket, and a stuffed animal.

For the older children, they would all get a book, toothbrush and toothpaste as well as the shampoo, lotion, body wash, and blanket.

Warm Welcomes helps foster kids go into their new home with items they need. They believe that the use of trash bags to transport a child’s only belongings is further insult to the vulnerable child.
